When we first launched the project I was really concerned because I had never done a project like this so I had no idea what I was doing. Not only that but I was worried we wouldn’t have enough time because we launched this project the first week of school and we only had a few weeks to work on it. One of which we spent camping and so we didn’t really get to work on the project that week.
In this project, I learned how to calculate torque and how torque was used to balance things. We calculated torque to balance our symbols and hang our mobiles. In the beginning, I had no idea what I was doing and there was definitely moments of frustration. Not being able to get it and making incorrect calculations over and over really upset me but I eventually got it. At first, I really hated torque but it wasn’t so bad after I started understanding it. It made balancing our symbols much easier.

In Spanish, we learned how to translate our basic information like our first names, last names, where we were born, and where we live currently. I learned that there are some Spanish words that can replace two or three English words with just one word. Overall Spanish was pretty easy, it just took us a long time to translate our paragraph because we had to look up each word in the English to Spanish dictionary.
In humanities, I learned how to correct my own writing piece by reading it to myself, reading it out loud, and/or having someone else read it. I was also shown many different writing styles and I was able to listen to a few pieces written by my classmates. This allowed me to see how different people perceived their specific word which I thought was very cool.
